Dive photos 2003 <28.12.2003> Oow man, I'm dumb. I've been playing with the strobe for some dives and I thought that the white cover is just to protect the lens. Today I amazingly discovered that it is a sort of a diffuser too. Well, I adjusted the power setting a little higher and kept the diffuser on. As I said before, there's a lot to learn ahead. Ok folks, that's it about 2003. 110 dives logged this year, of which, 32 to wrecks, 24
in an overhead environment, 24 in tropical waters, 12 in Norwegian fjords and 18 exploring some cool walls
around. The last dive of this year was brilliant. My only problem was a leaking suit. But what a hell, I'm used to it. I have dived
"semi-dry" all winter long. I hope I'll get my new suit from Ursuit fixed soon, it has been leaking since it was brand new. Guestbook now working ; added 27.12.2005 |

<21.12.2003> Ok, my new Sea&Sea slave strobe is in use. One of my diving frieds, Snuuba was a bit sceptical about it, since his gear is a lot more pro. He told that the strobe arm is way too short and the strobe is... Weeee, when I grow up and get rich I'll buy the sun from the sky and shoot with a supertelescope. Yeah, I have a long way to go and lots of learning ahead. From now on I'll get familiar with my strobe's settings (just the brightness and aiming, I've never really understood anything about photographing anyway). Ojamo 21.12 is the first set shoot with the strobe. Enjoy.
Nyt alkoi harjoittelu orjasalaman kanssa. Viimeisessä sukelluksessa Ojamon kaivoksessa en ehtinyt paljon säätelemään etten olisi jäänyt porukasta. Seuraavaa sukellusta varten muistan kyllä harjoitella, miten kamera laitetaan still-modesta videokuvamodiin, ettei hienojen kiviseinien katselu jää niin vähälle.
